A mission

I had a mission  – and I had to commence that mission. I had promised Düd’jom Rinpoche I would establish the gö kar chang lo’i dé in the West – and to do that I had to be self-reliant, self-sufficient, self-contained, self-confident, and self-assured. I had to be all these things without reliance on a ‘self’ which was solid, permanent, separate, continuous, or defined.
